of diverse clients and experience in cosmetics, fashion, nonprofits, pharmeceutical, and personal
websites, among other industries. Services and expertise include brand development and graphic
identity, Flash-based
animation and websites, and designing complex information architecture.

About
My life as graphic/web designer began in 1996 at George Soros' Open Society Institute in New York City.
I started out as a Program Assistant, but my talents as a designer quickly surfaced and I began learning
the trade on the job and through classes at Parsons.
The year 2000 came, and with it the Internet boom. Off I went into the wild new world of startups.
I worked with an energetic, creative internet agency in New York for the next six and a half years,
all the while building my own business.
At the agency, I started out as junior designer and rose to Art Director within a couple of years.
I worked with clients such as L'Oréal, Evian, Mount Gay Rum, Aer Lingus and more. Meanwhile,
Jerusha Design grew. I joined forces with an agency whose specialty was providing internet services
to nonprofits. I also worked with many other clients, including small businesses and individuals.
In July 2006, my family and I moved west to Portland, Oregon, and Jerusha Design became my fulltime occupation.
Skills
I have designed and art directed websites, online advertising, emails and print materials for a range of clients
(notables listed and linked below) for more than seven years. My expertise includes branding through design;
creating fluid, exciting Flash animation; and designing complex information architecture. As you can see in my gallery,
I have diverse design experience, working with cosmetics, beauty and fashion brands, nonprofits, pharmeceuticals
and personal websites.
